Dear Options Premium,

I know I have exploited you a plenty and you have never complained. From the moment I first saw you when I started working in a STOCK BROKING company in
2004. Then I learned more about you and
realised how easy it is that you can be mispriced. Since 2010, I worked so hard and
traded you and gave you my heart and soul, but you gave me more. I traded for the love of alpha and you options premium kept on giving.
We are receivers of whatever you shall give. But in the last few weeks I see you going down. Not that I am complaining, your
Weeekly decay remains special for me and I shall cherish before you give me a drawdown that pushes me over edge. (10%). (Hope that
day never comes).

But always remember that you shall remain my favorite for times to come. Because you
bought a lot of good things in my life and sometimes I feel my
existence.

Hoping for bigger and better options premium
that don't push you over the edge.

What is P/E ratio?       In some words P/E ratio = Current stock price / EPS (Earnings per share) of the year.       Here, Current stock price is the price at which trading is going on or the latest close price of a stock and EPS is Earning per share of recent 4 quarters which is also know as TTM EPS (Trailing 12 months ).       Lets take an example and calculate the P/E ratio for a company for better understanding. Lets take XYZ Industries.       Current Price - 2840/-       For EPS let me show you what data you need.     So TTM EPS = 28.53+ 23.67 + 25.71+ 25.52 = 103.43       So P/E ratio = 2840/103.43 = 27.4       Now PE ratio is available at many places but its important to understand where it comes from for knowing its significance.
